We’re passionate about bringing people together through food, compassion, and acts of kindness.

Aaron’s Pantry is more than a food initiative. It’s a labor of love and a tribute to a soul who brought light and warmth to everyone he met. Established in 2017 in loving memory of Aaron Josh Friedman, Aaron’s Pantry uses the universal language of food to bring people together, spark joy, and uplift lives.

Through hands-on cooking programs, community-driven events, and heartfelt food assistance initiatives, Aaron’s Pantry connects people of all ages and backgrounds with one another.

What we do

  • Pantry: Our food pantry offers ready to eat meals and groceries to families experiencing food insecurity, ensuring no one has to choose between nourishment and other essentials.

  • Chicken Soup Delivery: A warm bowl of chicken soup, delivered with love, brings comfort to those who are sick, recovering, or simply in need of care.

  • Educational Cooking Programs: From Mini Chefs for preschoolers to challah bakes and hands-on workshops for adults and seniors, our programs are full of culinary fun.

  • Volunteer-Powered Events: Our seasonal gatherings and volunteer opportunities bring the community together to cook, give back, and celebrate in meaningful ways.

Our Inspiration

Aaron’s Pantry was founded in loving memory of Aaron Josh Friedman (Aharon Yehoshua ben David v’Gila), whose passion for cooking, generosity, and connection to Jewish life continue to inspire everything we do. His legacy lives on in every smile, every act of kindness, and every dish prepared through this initiative.

At Aaron’s Pantry, food is just the beginning.

It’s what happens around the table—and in the heart—that truly makes an impact.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of Aaron’s Pantry is to combat hunger by providing reliable access to nutritious, high-quality food for individuals and families in need. We believe that every member of our community deserves to thrive, and we work to reduce barriers to food security through compassionate service, consistent support, and a welcoming environment grounded in dignity and respect. By partnering with local organizations, volunteers, and donors, we strive to create a dependable, community-driven network that ensures no neighbor is left without the resources they need.

In addition to distributing food, Aaron’s Pantry hosts community cooking events and social programs designed to bring people together around the shared experience of preparing and enjoying food. These programs celebrate cultural traditions, build meaningful connections, and deepen understanding of the challenges related to hunger in our community. Through education, storytelling, and culinary experiences, we aim to raise awareness, inspire advocacy, and empower individuals to take part in creating a more bright and nourished future for all.
